How it works

Six steps, and you never leave the job.

Search, basket, pick a delivery, pay, watch it come. The only number we ask you to trust is the ETA on your own order screen.

The journey

Search to signature, exactly as the app runs it.

  1. 01

    Search

By name, spec, MPN, or a photo of the part in your hand. Search knows the trade names too, so a Yorkshire fitting or a Ballofix lands where you meant it to.

  2. 02

    Build the basket

Add what the job needs. If the items sit across different merchants, that is our problem to solve rather than yours to shop around for.

  3. 03

    Choose how it comes

Immediately where the stock and the vehicle allow, or a booked one-hour window. Same day, or up to 30 days out if you are planning ahead.

  4. 04

    Pay

Card or Apple Pay. Buy now, pay later through IwocaPay if you qualify, though approval is always their decision and never a given.

  5. 05

    Watch it move

You can see the order from the moment a merchant accepts it through to the courier being on the road with it.

  6. 06

    Take delivery

To the job, the site, your home or the yard. Signed off with a PIN or a photo, so there is a record it actually arrived.

Three ways it can arrive

Which one you get depends on the stock, the vehicle and where you are standing.

  • Immediate

The stock is nearby, a merchant picks it now and a courier runs it out. You get an ETA before you pay, and that is the one that counts.

  • Scheduled

Book a one-hour window instead. Useful when immediate is not on offer, or when you would rather it arrived at second fix than right now.

  • Split shipment

When a basket comes from more than one merchant, you get an ETA for each part of it. We would rather show you two honest times than one convenient one.

The vehicle follows the load

A bag of fittings can go by bike or car and moves quickly in core areas. A boiler, a cylinder or three metres of pipe needs a van, and that often means scheduling it. Either way the final ETA and the delivery fee are on the screen before you pay.

Coverage is checked per postcode

Whether your address can take an immediate delivery or scheduled only depends on the postcode and on which merchants near you have stock. The app checks it against where you actually are, which is why we do not paint a national coverage map that would be wrong half the time.
